Facebook’s Beacon does not know me

With Beacon, Facebook is supposed to know me, right? Yes, it says so on my Facebook home: “Reach the exact target audience you want with relevant targeted ads”. Well thanks you, but no I do not live in the UK and I am definately not looking to remove my hair with any lasers, thank you.
